CONFESSIONAL
Anonymous Confessions. Shamelessly Staged.
Writer/Director
How far would you go for a crush? A girl stands outside a boy’s house with a boombox. A nun has erotic dreams about God. A teenager follows her crush home across three forms of public transport. Structured through sketch-style vignettes and inspired by verbatim confessions, CONFESSIONAL showcases the hilarious and confusing thoughts we have when we lust over someone. It brings to light the doubt in whether we are loving and being loved the right way, or whether we’re still a ‘good person’ when we go to extreme lengths to chase what we want.
